This has been a messed up year. A real messed up year.. I’m a laid back, drama-free kind of fellow. I like things to be simple, and easy, and smooth sailing. It’s hard for me to control my emotions sometimes. I feel like the past three years have gone so fast. The chapters of my life are flying by a moment at a time. Looking back on the women that have supposedly cared for me over the past three years, in perspective all seem kind of irrelevant right now. Basically the only lesson I’ve learned from any of them is that you can’t trust anyone, and everyone is evil, and real shitty at their core. Now I don’t tend to believe this, but the older I get the harder it is to deny it. One of my better qualities, I believe, is my ability to forgive people. I honestly can understand where people are coming from in most situations. This one person though, I cannot forgive. I’ll leave it at that. Recently I’ve found myself in more of a depression than the usual, I started smoking for a month then quit, and now I have the most painful cough of all time, damn you depression! I’m never smoking again. I can’t sleep, when I can’t sleep I go to the internet for distraction. Right now there is pseudo intellectuals, like myself, talking about pop culture on facebook. What a bore. What I’m thinking about right now is waiting for a chapter of my life to come that’s worth rereading. Something to feel good about. And I know what you’re gonna say, that you have to write that chapter yourselfblahblahblah. I know, I know. I just feel like I’ve been faking it for way to long now. There’s something beautiful in the darkness, there just needs to be some light in order to see it.

Virtual Reality- How in 20 years people will just spend all of their time in virtual reality hanging out with each other. Kinda like a real-life animal crossing. You’ll be able to do all your shopping, working, and living in virtual reality. But there is a good side, and a bad side. The good side is you can pretty much go, see, do anything in virtual reality via internet(youtube and amazon in virtual reality?). The bad side is in reality you’ll be sitting in an empty room doing nothing. I envision a population of fat people sitting in blank rooms with their brains hooked up to a computer. People will become addicted to virtual reality. And then one day you’ll be able to download your brain to a computer hard drive (technological singularity) and back up all of your memories. And after you die you can just have your brain removed, and hooked up to a virtual reality computer, and then you can theoretically “live forever” with all of your loved ones, and dead pets. The scary part is that people are pretty much like this already.. If I was in VR I would spend most of my time dressed up like Link from the Legend of Zelda.. Or Batman! Last weekend of the summer. Hopefully everything’s going to change now.
It’s weird how you meet someone one time, and you kind of know that you’ll never meet them again. But you’re friends for like 2 hours. You click and interact with this person. And in your life you’ll never get those 2 hours back. Because everyone you know personally thinks that they’re better than you on some level. And that kind of egomaniacal communication is different than the type of communication you have with someone who doesn’t know anything about you. I hope you have a good life.

You are not special. I repeat you are not special. A lot of people are delusional, they think that the most important thing in the universe is themselves. Which is maybe why I feel miserable most of the time… . because I feel like I’m “not special”. I feel worthless, like I’ve wasted my life. Maybe I should feel like I’m the most important thing in the world, and try to fuck people over to get what I want. But they say for people like me that the most important thing is to stay positive, and to look at the things I have, and not at the things that I don’t have. But I am just perplexed when I look at most everyday common people. The things they care about. The way they feel that their life is a Motion Picture, or some lame 19th century Novel. And they are the protagonist, and I’m some background character who doesn’t make a difference. But the character I play is what I everyone actually is. These are the people that think everything happens for a reason. They think some brilliant writer is constructing an epic plot that is their epic life. But these types of people who think their lives are the most important things in the universe are the ones that become the most upset when things don’t go their way. They are the weakest. They completely fall apart mentally, and emotionally when they don’t get what they want. Don’t they realize it doesn’t matter? We are all dying! I think others will see this as a morbid way of living, but I’m just being honest, and realistic. Their are billions of us idiots in the world, and one day we’ll all be dead(Here is the part where I’m supposed to say: “So live it to the fullest bro!” But, I’m not going to; so fuck you.). I take a look at myself… . and where I was a year ago, and see how pathetic I was, and am. And I think about this tumblr, and why it is I am writing this right now. Am I just like these people who think their lives are that important that they need a bull shit blog to satisfy their ego ? Do I think my life is a novel ? I don’t know.
